Our Playschool

• Pachamama Nature Adventures is a place-based program where nature is the classroom.

• We are a playschool without walls where children can explore and learn from the natural world throughout the year. We cultivate a children's curiosity and imagination while making deep connections with nature. We create a home where children grow and feel connected to their peers and the Earth.

• What we do at Pachamama may look and feel like play to your child, but our caring and trained mentors have a subtle way of weaving peace, community building, and deep respect and love for the Earth into every day. Children often lead the way as we follow their curiosity, but also gently push them to try new things.

• Unstructured play is the cornerstone of positive social development and foundational in our learning approach. Free play at Pachamama is unstructured, led by the child and is an opportunity where children can make their own choices, be directed by their own interests, create their own realities, and use their imagination in their own way. It is spontaneous, develops from natural curiosity and allows children to explore and experience the world around them.
