OUR STORY

Gabriela Armendariz

Founder/Facilitator

Gaby has a degree in Sciences of Initial Education from UTPL (Ecuador). She also has a degree in Child Care Training from Miami Dade College and is a Nature-Based Certificated teacher for children by the Eastern Region Association of Forest and Nature Schools ERAFANS.

Gaby grew up in her wonderful city, Quito (Ecuador). It was here that her connection to nature began to take root. She spent her first years playing, exploring, and discovering all the wonders that her environment offered. Gaby herself always knew that she wanted to work with children. Her first job was working as a teacher's assistant at a local school in her town.

Since she received her teaching certificate from her in early childhood education, she has had the opportunity to teach in Ecuador and Miami (Nature Program) as a lead teacher.

Ever since she became a mother, Gaby has intended to give her child the freedom, time, and space to play freely, discover and explore natural environments, and make connections with the land. Whether it’s at the beach, natural preserves, or local playgrounds.

Gaby, and her family love to spend their weekends outdoors, exploring together.

“We inspire all our children to become thinkers, leaders and responsible decision makers.”
